Trading Results in Perspektiva Stock Exchange in August 2012. Exchange members - leaders in terms of contracts concluded

During August, 2012, on Perspektiva Stock Exchange (hereinafter - the Exchange) 8729 contracts have been signed totaling USD 10.87 billion. Compared with July, the volume of trading in the Exchange has decreased by 15.9%, the number of contracts - by 15.8%.

According to real-time data from the websites of stock exchanges in August the Exchange has ranked second in terms of trading (with a 40% share in the total stock exchange turnover), the first place - PFTS Stock Exchange PJSC (53%), the third place - Ukrainian Exchange PJSC (6%).

Since the start of the year the volume of trading in the Exchange has been USD 56.1 billion, which amounts 38% of the total exchange turnover in Ukraine. The Exchange has been ranking second in terms of trading volume for 8 months of the current year.

According to real-time data of State Securities and Stock Market Commission (SSSMC) in terms of financial instruments, the market share of the Exchange has been:

In January-August, 2012: domestic government loan bonds - 37%, corporate bonds - 29%, stocks - 51%, investment certificates - 91%, optional certificates - 92%, forward contracts - 22%;

In August, 2012: domestic government loan bonds - 40%, corporate bonds - 24%, stocks - 28%, investment certificates - 73%, optional certificates - 79%, forward contracts - 65%.

The largest trading volume in August has been recorded with government bonds of Ukraine (75.61%), corporate bonds (6.75%) and forward contracts (13.48%). In addition 4.6% of trading have been conducted in Applications market, 81.3% - in target market, 0.6% - in Issuance market (regarding bonds of Delta Bank JSC, MIK MEGA LLC, TRIUMF LLC, Aksioma LLC, Novotech-INVEST LLC, Mini-Max LLC), 0.1% - in derivatives market (regarding optional certificates), 13.48% - in forward market (regarding futures contracts, of which 854,360 were concluded during the month).

Compared with the previous month, the trading volume of Local borrowings bonds has increased 12.7 times, optional certificates - by 11.1%, trading volume of forward contracts has decreased by 11.9%, domestic government loan bonds - by 13.7%, investment certificates – 23.6%, corporate bonds - by 29.1%, shares - by 40.5%.

In August bonds of Mini-Max LLC (A, B, C Series), UkrSibbank PJSC (I series), stocks of Zaporizhelektromashopttorh PJSC, Machine-Building Plant ELEM PJSC, 4 series of domestic government loan bonds etc. have been included into the exchange list for the first time; eight codes (series) of futures contracts on the UIRD index have also become eligible for trading.

As of 31.08.2012 the number of securities and other financial instruments in the Exchange list has been 254. Among them: 35 in the 1st level of listing, 29 in the 2nd level of listing, 190 in non-listed securities and other financial instruments.

Exchange list structure: 128 stock issues (12 of them - in the 2nd level of listing, 116 - in non-listed securities), 34 series of domestic government loan bonds (the first level of listing), 15 series of investment certificates (14 of them – in the 2nd level of listing, 1 – in non-listed securities), 60 series of bonds (3 of them - in the 2nd level of listing, 57 – in non-listed securities), 1 series of Local borrowings bonds (first level of listing), 4 series of optional certificates (in non-listed securities) and 12 codes (series) of futures contracts.

Capitalization of stocks in the stock exchange list as of 31.08.2012 has amounted to USD 54 billion.
